ADNOC Distribution Opens Barakah Service Station in Western Region

The opening ceremony was attended by Mohamed Hamad Bin Azzan Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Ruler’s Representative Court in the Western Region, Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, Director, Sales and Marketing Directorate and senior management from ADNOC Distribution.

ADNOC Distribution has expanded its service station network in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi with the opening of a new service station ‘Barakah’ located near the Barakah nuclear power plant on the Abu Dhabi – Sila’a road. The opening ceremony was attended by Mohamed Hamad Bin Azzan Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Ruler’s Representative Court in the Western Region, Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, Director, Sales and Marketing Directorate and senior management from ADNOC Distribution. Operating round-the-clock, the service station features eight islands with 14 dispensers offering E-Plus 91, Special 95, and Super 98 fuels, as well as Green Diesel. Work is currently underway to fit-out the service station with natural gas for vehicles (NGV) facilities. On the occasion of the launch, Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, said: "The opening of Barakah service station reiterates our commitment to expanding our geographical presence across the UAE in line with the country’s rapid economic growth. This latest addition takes the total number of ADNOC Distribution service stations in the Western Region to 34. In 2017, we are planning to add four more service stations in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi to cater to the requirements of Madinat Zayed, Abu Abyad – Madinat Zayed road, Ghayathi, and Al Mirfa.” Al Rashdi added: "At ADNOC Distribution, we are keen to implement an ambitious expansion plan that aims to enrich the lives of the community through offering services par excellence. Our ultimate goal is to meet the country’s growing energy needs and support its sustainable development goals.” Customers of Barakah service station will benefit from a wide range of services including oil change, automatic car wash, an ADNOC Oasis convenience store, a fast food outlet, an LPG cylinders depot and a mosque. In the near future, the service station will also include a mini vehicle repair workshop and two ATM machines.
