ADNOC Distribution Opens Al Qurm Service Station in Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah

New Facility to Complement Company’s Growing Network in Northern Emirates

ADNOC Distribution opened a new service station at Al Qurm in Ras Al Khaimah, located on Khuzam Road adjacent to the RAK Mall and ahead of the Ras Al Khaimah golf course. His Highness Sheikh Faisal Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board, Ras Al Khaimah Julphar (Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries), and Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, inaugurated the Al Qurm service station in the presence of senior officials from ADNOC Distribution as well as high profile guests from allied sectors. Al Qurm service station leverages ADNOC Distribution’s experience and capabilities to provide best-in-class facilities and services to customers in the Northern Emirates. The facility comprises six dispensers in addition to two dedicatedfor Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV), which are set to be operational in the near future. As part of ADNOC Distribution’s network of service stations, Al Qurm service station provides petroleum and allied services round-the-clock, in addition to retail services through the ADNOC Oasis store that also includes a bakery. Oil change services and the distribution of a wide range of lubricants, an LPG cylinders depot and a fast food restaurant are added facilities at the new service station. Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, said: “We are delighted to launch Al Qurm service station as part of our expansion plans that seek to grow our network of service stations in the Northern Emirates. These efforts are designed to cope with the increasing demand for the company’s products and services following the rapid urbanisation and expansion of cities within the UAE.” Al Dhaheri added: “At ADNOC Distribution, we are keen to enhance our operational and administrative capabilities to establish more such world-class facilities across the UAE. We are particularly focused on meeting our customers’ requirements for service stations and vehicle maintenance facilities in the vicinity of their residences and places of work.” ADNOC Distribution’s expansion strategy seeks to increase the total number of service stations operated by the company to 507 as part of the business plan for 2015-2016. The plan includes the inauguration of the first floating service station in the Arab world and the introduction of smart service station facilities across the entire network.
