ADNOC Distribution has announced the marked retail price of its Smart Tag and ADNOC Plus payment tokens available to ADNOC Wallet account holders. Starting 1 March 2016, the company will retail the Smart Tag at AED250, while the ADNOC Plus card will be available to customers for AED50. Prior to the roll out of the seven-month pilot phase of the ADNOC Smart service, the company also invites customers to subscribe for the ADNOC Wallet by visiting the website (www.adnocdistribution.ae/smart) and following the simple registration process. In the run up to this deadline, ADNOC Distribution is offering complimentary Smart Tags to the first 5,000 customers opting to experience the service and register for an ADNOC Wallet account. In addition to receiving free ADNOC Plus cards, the early customers to register will also have their Emirates ID cards linked to their ADNOC Wallet accounts and activated for free. The ADNOC Wallet allows customers to pay for their purchases at the participating service stations in three different ways – via the Smart Tag (a smart chip installed at the fuel inlet of the vehicles’ fuel tank and linked to the ADNOC Wallet account), the ADNOC Plus cards, or via their ID cards that are also linked to the ADNOC Wallet and activated for payments.
