ADNOC Distribution Announces Temporary Closure of Three Service Stations in Emirate of Abu Dhabi

Zafaranah Service Station Reopens after Completion of Upgrading Work

ADNOC Distribution has announced the temporary closure of three service stations, Al Samha 2, Al Nasser and Al Qanah, in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The three stations will remain closed from today (20 February) for a period of four months for the execution of general maintenance works and upgrade of infrastructure facilities. The Al Samha 2 service station is located on the Dubai – Abu Dhabi highway. The Vehicle Inspection Center and the ADNOC Oasis retail store located within the service station will remain open throughout the period of temporary closure. Meanwhile, Al Nasser service station is located on Sheikh Zayed the Second Street (Electra) near Sheraton Khalidiya Hotel Abu Dhabi, while Al Qanah service station is located on the Mussafah – Abu Dhabi road opposite to Officers City. All additional facilities at Al Nasser and Al Qanah service stations will also remain closed during this period. ADNOC Distribution has also announced the reopening of the Zafaranah service station located in Abu Dhabi following the completion of maintenance and upgrading work. Zafaranah service station was temporary closed in August 2014. Khalid Hadi, Vice President Marketing and Corporate Communication Division at ADNOC Distribution, said: “ADNOC Distribution regularly upgrades and enhances the facilities and infrastructure at our network of service stations. This process allows us to guarantee the safety and security of the motorists and the community as a whole, and to routinely upgrade the services provided to our customers.” Hadi added: “We have witnessed growing demand for our diverse product and service range in recent months. ADNOC Distribution’s regular maintenance plan mandates our service stations to improve their readiness and efficiency levels to cope with the changing needs of our customers.”
