NGV prices
The rapid expansion of ADNOC Distribution’s NGV network has been assisted by the fact that NGV prices have been held substantially lower than conventional fuels such as gasoline and diesel on energy equivalent terms.
ADNOC Distribution is encouraging car owners to convert to NGV and thus reduce the negative impacts on the environment through significant reduction in toxic emissions. A new pricing scheme for NGV that will come into effect from 1 March will set the tariff for NGV at 1.40 AED per SCM, compared to AED 1.32 previously.
Reflecting current business dynamics, the new price ensures that NGV will remain significantly cheaper than other comparable fuels available on the market.
The new pricing scheme that came into effect on 1 March 2017 sets the NGV tariff as follows:
