ADNOC Distribution Opens Qutouf Service Station in Al Rahba Area of Abu Dhabi
ADNOC Distribution announced the opening of Qutouf service station in Al Rahba area of Abu Dhabi as part of the company’s strategic expansion plan to meet the growing demand for its high-quality products and services.
Located near Golden Stars Stadium, the latest addition to ADNOC Distribution’s network takes the total number of stations in the city of Abu Dhabi and its suburbs to 95 service stations and six ADNOC Xpress stations.
Operating round-the-clock, the service station features five islands with 10 dispensers offering E-Plus 91, Special 95, Super 98 and Green Diesel. It has sufficient fuelling capacity to serve 20 vehicles simultaneously.
Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, said: “The opening of Qutouf service station is the latest step in our strategy to expand our network across the country through factoring in the requirements of our customers specific to each area.”
He also revealed that ADNOC Distribution plans to launch a total of 10 new ADNOC Xpress stations in Abu Dhabi and 25 new service stations across the UAE in 2017. Since the beginning of the year, the company opened six ADNOC Xpress stations in Abu Dhabi and six service stations across the country.
Qutouf service station offers a wide range of facilities and integrated services including oil change, an ADNOC Oasis convenience store, an LPG cylinder depot and a mosque. Customers can also benefit from the automatic car wash service every day from 6am to 10pm. In the future, the station will add an ATM, a fast food outlet, a third-party car workshop and natural gas for vehicles (NGV) facilities.
Like other ADNOC Distribution service stations, Qutouf service station is fitted out with state-of-the-art HSE equipment, creating a safer and healthier environment for employees and customers as well as residents of the surrounding areas. It also features a CCTV system, which covers every square metre of the premises, and sensors that monitor the length of time vehicles spend parked in the slots designated for customers.
The facility has a direct electronic link to the Civil Defence to minimise the response time in emergencies. Furthermore, the station uses a vapour recovery system that extracts fumes discharged from fuel tankers in order to protect the environment.
