ADNOC Distribution Opens New Vehicle Inspection Facilities to Meet Growing Customer Demand

ADNOC Distribution has opened two new vehicle inspection centres at its Yas Service Station located at Yas Island and at Istiqlal Service Station located in the Mussafah Industrial Area

ADNOC Distribution has opened two new vehicle inspection centres at its Yas Service Station located at Yas Island (Dubai-Abu Dhabi Road) and at Istiqlal Service Station located in the Mussafah Industrial Area. The opening of the new centres is part of ADNOC Distribution’s continuing effort to meet evolving customer needs for comprehensive services such as issuing and renewing vehicle licenses. The vehicle inspection centre at the Yas Service Station currently comprises one dedicated track for vehicle inspection tests only and serves the residents of Yas Island and neighbouring areas. Meanwhile, ADNOC Distribution’s new vehicle inspection centre at the Istiqlal Service Station primarily focuses on the issuance of dye permits for light vehicles and services customers in and around the Mussafah Industrial area. The centre operates from Sunday through Thursday, from 7am to 3pm, and compensates for the closure of Al Dhafra Centre for issuing permits, which was recently closed due its considerable distance from the industrial area. Khalid Hadi, Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Communications Division at ADNOC Distribution, said: “At ADNOC Distribution it is our sustained endeavour to enhance our facilities and develop our services in line with the directives of our leadership to deliver the highest level and quality of services to our consumers. To further enhance customer satisfaction we are opening service centres in densely populated areas while simultaneously working to expand our facilities in all areas within the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Our customers can now enjoy greater convenience and easily access all required services.” Hadi added: “As part of this customer focus and complying with customer demands in the Western Region, ADNOC Distribution is also looking at extending the working hours of the technical testing centre at Madinat Zayed. The centre currently provides services from Sunday through Thursday, from 7am to 7pm.” ADNOC Distribution’s vehicle inspection centres provide comprehensive services, including the traffic safety check that is a mandatory procedure for issuing vehicle licenses or for the renewal of existing licenses, in addition to issuing various permits. Currently, there are 19 technical inspection centres for vehicles in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, seven in Abu Dhabi, six in Al Ain and six in the Western Region.
