ADNOC Distribution Opens Marabe Al Dhafra Service Station in Al Dhafra Region of Abu Dhabi

ADNOC Distribution has announced the opening of Marabe Al Dhafra Service Station in the Al Dhafra Region of Abu Dhabi as part of the company’s strategic expansion plan to meet the growing demand for its high-quality products and services across the country. The opening event was attended by Mohamed Hamad bin Azzan Al Mazroui, Under-Secretary of the Ruler’s Representative Court in the Al Dhafra Region, Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, and several ADNOC Distribution officials. Located alongside the Marabe Al Dhafra housing community on Tarif – Liwa road, the latest addition to ADNOC Distribution’s network takes the total number of Company service stations in the region to 37. Operating round-the-clock, the service station features seven islands with 15 dispensers offering E-Plus 91, Special 95, Super 98 and Green Diesel. It has sufficient fuelling capacity to serve 30 vehicles simultaneously. Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer, said: “The opening of Marabe Al Dhafra service station is the latest stage in the fulfilment of our strategy to expand our service station network across the country. Towards this goal, we are leveraging our unique expertise and facilities to better serve the requirements of our customers, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class products and services in an effective and consistent manner.” Al Rashdi also revealed that ADNOC Distribution plans to launch a total of 10 new ADNOC Xpress stations in Abu Dhabi and a further 25 new service stations across the UAE in 2017. Since the beginning of the year, the company has opened seven ADNOC Xpress stations in Abu Dhabi and seven service stations elsewhere in the country. Marabe Al Dhafra service station offers a wide range of facilities and integrated services, including oil change, an ADNOC Oasis convenience store, an LPG cylinder depot and an automatic car wash service. It also includes a mosque & leasable space for a fast food outlet, a third-party car workshop and an ATM. In the future, the station will add natural gas for vehicles (NGV) facilities. Like other ADNOC Distribution service stations, Marabe Al Dhafra service station is fitted out with state-of-the-art HSE equipment, creating a safer and healthier environment for employees and customers as well as residents in the surrounding areas.
