ADNOC Distribution announced the opening of Al Marfa City service station in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi as part of the company’s strategic expansion plan to meet the growing demand for its high-quality products and services. Located on the Hospital Street and next to the Integrated Government Services Centers “Tamm”, the latest addition to ADNOC Distribution’s network takes the total number of service stations in the Western Region to 36. Operating round-the-clock, the service station features 5 islands with 9 dispensers. It offers E-Plus 91, Special 95, Super 98 fuels and Green Diesel, with sufficient fuelling capacity to serve 18 vehicles simultaneously. Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, said: “The opening of Al Marfa City service station is the latest stage of our strategic expansion plan to consolidate our service station network across the country, which takes into the account the requirements of our customers specific to each area.” Al Rashdi also revealed that ADNOC Distribution’s planned future service station openings include three new stations that will meet the needs of customers in the Madinat Zayed area, Madinat Zayed - Abu Al Abyad Road, and Ghayathi. The Al Marfa City service station offers a wide range of facilities and integrated services, including oil change, automatic car wash, an ADNOC Oasis convenience store and an LPG cylinder depot. In the future, it will also add an ATM machine, a fast food outlet and Natural Gas for Vehicles (NGV) facilities. Like other ADNOC Distribution service stations, Al Marfa City service station is fitted out with state-of-the-art HSE equipment, creating a safer and healthier environment for employees and customers as well as residents of the surrounding areas. It also features a CCTV system, which covers every square metre of the premises, and sensors that monitor the length of time vehicles spend parked in the slots designated for customers. The facility has a direct electronic link to the Civil Defence authorities to minimise the response time in emergencies.Furthermore, the station uses a vapour recovery system that extracts fumes discharged from fuel tankers in order to protect the environment.
