ADNOC Distribution Launches Initiative to Promote ADNOC Wallet Registration among Female Customers

The promoters will work in morning and evening shifts to help female clients use ADNOC SMART self-refuelling option and fully benefit from the services.

ADNOC Distribution has launched an initiative to encourage female customers to register for ADNOC Wallet accounts. As part of the drive, eight female promoters have been commissioned to the four service stations participating in the pilot phase of the programme from 22March to 21 April 2016. The promoters will work in morning and evening shifts to help female clients use ADNOC SMART self-refuelling option and fully benefit from the services. Khalid Hadi, Vice President Marketing and Corporate Communications Division at ADNOC Distribution, said: “Through launching this initiative we are seeking to increase uptake for ADNOC SMART among our female customers so that they can benefit from its diverse conveniences. When ADNOC SMART was first conceptualised we hoped to reduce the waiting time and queues at our network of service stations to benefit the increasing number of women customers frequenting the stations. We are keen to offer them all support in completing registrations for an ADNOC Wallet account. Our promoters will also educate female customers on using the self-service efficiently, safely, and conveniently.” Hadi added: “ADNOC Distribution has implemented necessary steps to make this transition phase a smooth and rewarding one for our customers, partners and all concerned stakeholders. The smart services will eventually elevate our credentials as one of the largest and most innovative petroleum companies in the region, while also fulfilling the vision of the UAE leadership to achieve smart governments and smart cities.” ADNOC Wallet allows customers to enjoy the benefit of ADNOC SMART’s flexible payment solutions and enables them to manage their accounts from anywhere, at any time using tablets or mobiles. ADNOC Distribution invites customers to subscribe online for their ADNOC Wallet accounts via the company’s website (www.adnocdistribution.ae/smart) and follow the simple steps for registration. The four service stations included in the pilot phase are all located on Abu Dhabi Island. Customers can get instant directions to the locations of service stations implementing the pilot phase of ADNOC SMART by entering the stations’ numbers on the company’s free to download mobile application (mobileapp.adnocdistribution.ae). The service stations are Rabdan service station (162) located in Al Mushrif area on Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Street - Abu Dhabi Road, Al Nasr service station (928) located on Sheikh Zayed the First Street, Al Zafarana service station (973) located near Khalifa University, and Al Qanah service station (752) located on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street.
